Hospice funding is an ongoing concern as no government grants or funding is received. Every hospice is autonomous in terms of fundraising. Currently Hospice East Rand runs ten charity shops and a book shop. Various fund raising events are organised and held by hospice including two fetes per year. However, hospice still relies on the support and generosity of the public to maintain its facilities and for expansion projects such as our Care Centre in Vosloorus. Donations of any kind are gratefully accepted. There are many ways that you can be of help to hospice: |
