New Vosloorus Service Launched by Hospice East Rand

IN MARCH 2006 we extended our services into Vosloorus by providing a daycare programme for terminally ill patients at one of the local Vosloorus church halls.
44 patients attended.
In September 2006 Hospice purchased a house in Vosloorus and commenced renovations with funding received from ZF Sachs SA.  The daycare programme commenced in the new house in June 2007 and takes place on two days each week.
Our Vosloorus outeach programme is funded by PEPFAR and FNB.   As at end February 2009 we have offered care to 401 patients in the Vosloorus area.
